This extraordinary site is being painstakingly developed along historic themes with reverence for all things past.

Endorsed by the Trading Path Association as a historically well-known township and commercial center of the eighteenth century, the land we now call Lawson is one of the last remaining conserved woodlands in south Charlotte, replete with archeological sites including the ruins of “Howard’s Mill”. You can continue the legacy started in 1701 as you begin your own sojourn here, at Historic Lawson.
